Spring 2019 One Room Challenge Week Six

Guest bath design board for The Pink Pagoda's Spring 2019 One Room Challenge™

Hello! Thank you so much for visiting my Week Six post of the One Room Challenge™. I’ve been transforming a bathroom and you can catch up with my project here. Above is a design board that while not exact, definitely conveys the general aesthetic of the space. If you checked in last week, you knew my contractor got started on this project later than we’d agreed upon. Soooooooo…..

…..to my One Room Challenge™ record of always finishing by the deadline : [. The carousel below shows photos from all but two (couldn’t find images) of the ORCs in which I’ve participated. When I’ve signed on to do this amazing online interior design event, it’s always been with the complete commitment to have my finished space up at the appointed time on the appointed Wednesday as expected. It’s been my experience that when you throw much remodeling into the ORC mix, you’re taking a big risk unless you work with people you’ve worked with before and know for certain they will honor their word about completing work in plenty of time to pull everything together, and have photos taken.

I’m very disappointed not to be able to share my space today (If you couldn’t tell). I hope to be able to share it with you very soon. Keep your eyes out for me — I’ll be posting on social media with links back here to see everything. I do have just a few things, though, today.

Straight herringbone pattern in the Bianco Puro Marble Collection from The Tile Shop

Above is the floor tile, and below is the wall tile. It’s from The Tile Shop, and I can’t wait to see it with the grout. I hope to be able to soon!

I appreciate your coming by, and wish I had more to share with you today! The One Room Challenge is just the best ever — be sure to go see everyone’s room — so many amazing projects. Check back here to see my project!
